Wrinkle injections-Dr.Karsten Sawatzki

Dr.Karsten Sawatzki -plastic-aesthetic surgery

With increasing age, the skin loses moisture, thereby becoming less elastic. Small wrinkles initially form which, if no measures are taken, become increasingly deep, and accompanied by other small wrinkles. For wrinkling, mimic wrinkles are distinguished from orthostatic wrinkles.
Mimic wrinkles arise through contractions of the facial musculature, Folds on the forehead are very common, as are the so-called laughter lines around the mouth and eyes.
Orthostatic folds are a consequence of skin ageing and arise through the gravity which is a consequence of the ageing process. The fatty tissue in the subcutaneous layer sags and wrinkles form.

By virtue of extensively researched therapies, it is possible to remove mimic wrinkles and arrest orthostatic wrinkle formation in timely fashion through injections.
Botox treatment is the best known method of wrinkle injection. Alternatively, treatment with hyaluronic acid or collagen is possible. Own fat injection is a highly effective and gentle form of therapy. In this method, the patient’s own living fat cells are removed from a problem area under local anaesthesia and under a further local anaesthetic are injected under the skin of the regions affected by wrinkling using the finest needles. The injected fat cells remain alive through connection with blood vessels. The face works again in a fresh and youthful way. An own fat injection operation lasts for around one hour. On average, the healing phase lasts for one week.
As in the case of a face lift, this method can postpone a surgical operation for many years.
