After Care

The swelling which initially occurs can be cooled in the first few hours after the procedure, thus facilitating rapid swelling recovery. The swelling generally subsides after 24-48 hours. For an injection using collagen, the skin can arch forward somewhat directly after the injection and the point of needle insertion may have reddened; both conditions disappear on their own in a short period of time.

If your wrinkles are treated using polylactic acid, it is normal for the wrinkles to deepen at first. The final result, a noticeable reduction of your wrinkles, begins to become visible gradually.
Proceed within caution when performing facial hygiene in the first days after the procedure. Anticoagulant medications should not be taken for a few days.
